EFCC Releases Photos of Ex-Power Minister Saleh Mamman After His Arrest for Fraud
The EFCC has released photos of former Minister of Power, Saleh Mamman, following his arrest in Kaduna State.
Mamman, who had reportedly been on the run, was earlier convicted and sentenced to 75 years imprisonment over the diversion of ₦33.8 billion meant for the Zungeru and Mambilla hydroelectric power projects.
EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede confirmed that the former minister was arrested around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday alongside two individuals accused of helping him evade authorities.
The anti-graft agency also disclosed that the residence where the arrest occurred is now under investigation
