“I Belong to the World, I Can’t Be Caged” — Flavour on Relationships

Nigerian highlife star Flavour has sparked reactions online after declaring that he is not the type of man who can be confined to one person.

In a video shared on his Instagram Stories, the singer was asked about his personal relationships. Responding in Igbo, Flavour said some men are comfortable being “domesticated,” but he sees himself differently.

“Some men are domesticated. I belong to the world. I can’t be caged,” he said.

The singer explained that he is an explorer who belongs to the wider world and does not see himself as someone who can be restricted.

Flavour’s comments have since generated mixed reactions on social media, with many debating his views on relationships and commitment.

The award-winning musician has three daughters with two former beauty queens, Sandra Okagbue and Anna Banner.
