“There Is No Love Left in Nigeria” — Spyro Laments State of Society

Nigerian singer Spyro has expressed concern over what he describes as a growing lack of love and empathy among Nigerians.

In a post shared on Instagram, the singer said his experiences over the past two months have convinced him that selfishness has become deeply rooted in society.

According to Spyro, the problem stems from poor upbringing, with many parents raising children who prioritize personal interests over the well-being of others.

“Parents have raised selfish children, and now selfish people are everywhere in the country,” he stated.

The singer, who has recently advocated for the rescue of abducted schoolchildren in Oyo State, called for a moral reawakening and prayed for the restoration of love, unity, and compassion among Nigerians.

He warned that the growing absence of empathy is contributing to the country’s social challenges and weakening the bonds that hold communities together.
