Actress Ini Dima-Okojie Welcomes First Child on Her Birthday

Nollywood star Ini Dima-Okojie has announced the birth of her first child, a baby boy, sharing the joyful news as part of her birthday celebration on June 24, 2026.  

Choosing to forgo the traditional elaborate photoshoots and glam sessions that have defined her past birthdays, the actress opted for a more intimate approach. She shared a poignant photograph taken on the day of her son’s birth, describing it as the exact moment her life was transformed.  

“Every year, my birthday comes with a photoshoot, glam, and a carefully planned concept. This year, none of that felt quite right. Instead, I’m sharing a photo from the day my son was born. The day my life changed forever,” she wrote.  

Reflecting on her transition into motherhood, Dima-Okojie described it as the most “humbling, stretching, and rewarding” role she has ever undertaken. She candidly admitted that the newborn phase has been both beautiful and exhausting, noting that she had previously underestimated the demands of motherhood.  

“There is no role I have ever played that has humbled me, stretched me, challenged me, or filled my heart quite like this one,” she shared. She also praised her newborn son, whom she affectionately described as “the cutest boy with the sweetest dimples,” and expressed profound gratitude for the strength the experience has revealed in her.  

The actress, who celebrates her birthday today, noted that this year’s milestone holds a special place in her heart as she marks it for the first time as a mother, stating, “I feel incredibly grateful that God chose me for this responsibility and entrusted me with such a precious life.”
