Joanna Debunks Jason Jae’s “One-Night Stand” Claim During BBNaija Reunion
Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Joanna has publicly refuted claims by fellow housemate Jason Jae that the two engaged in a “one-night stand” while on the show. The speculation originated after an intimate moment between the pair the night before Joanna’s eviction, which occurred off-camera, leaving viewers to speculate about the nature of their encounter.
During the second episode of the BBNaija reunion show aired on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, Joanna addressed the allegations, expressing her shock at Jason’s version of events. “The very first interview Jason Jae had, he claimed that the incident was a ‘one-night thing’. I was shocked like, ‘Are you a baby?’” she stated.
Joanna provided her account of the night, explaining that she was emotionally vulnerable following Thelma’s eviction. She claimed, “I was sleeping when he came to my bed. I was very emotional because it was the night Thelma got evicted. I woke up to see him in my bed. He was hard as rock. I noticed it, and I tried to cover him up. Only for him to go out and say we had a one-night stand.”
In response to her testimony, Jason Jae issued an apology for the insinuation that a sexual encounter had taken place. However, the reunion remained tense as Jason asserted that he never held romantic interests in Joanna, dismissing her previous suggestions that he pursued her as a rebound following his rejection by another housemate, Dede.
