BREAKING: Tinubu signs N54.99 Trillion 2025 Budget into law
President Bola Tinubu has signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill into law, approving a total budget of N54.99 trillion for the fiscal year. Initially proposed at N49.7 trillion, the budget was increased to N54.2 trillion following Tinubu’s request to the National Assembly. The breakdown includes N3.645 trillion for Statutory Transfers, N14.317 trillion for Debt Servicing, N13.64 trillion for Recurrent Expenditure (salaries, overheads, and government operations), and N23.963 trillion for Capital Expenditure (Development Fund).
