“Maybe It Was a Miscommunication” — Blessing CEO Clarifies stage 4 Cancer Claim
Controversial internet personality Blessing Okoro has said there may have been a “miscommunication” regarding her earlier claim of having stage 4 cancer.
In an interview with content creator Egungun, she explained that the stage she mentioned was based on what she was told, adding that she is yet to receive a confirmed diagnosis on the exact stage.
“I’m not a doctor… maybe I just passed the message I was given,” she said, noting that she only recently confirmed the lump was cancerous after initial tests suggested otherwise.
Blessing also addressed questions about her treatment, revealing she has not started chemotherapy and is awaiting further evaluation from her oncologist.
On the controversy surrounding donations, she denied claims of receiving over ₦100 million, stating that she got about ₦13 million instead.
She, however, declined calls to release her medical report publicly, describing it as private, and maintained that she does not believe she owes anyone an apology.
