People claiming to be witch hunted today did same to others in past – Shehu Sani
Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has criticised public office holders and politicians who complain about being “witch-hunted.”
In a post on his X handle on Friday, Sani pointed out the irony, saying many of those crying foul today were the same people who “witch-hunted” others when they held power.
His remark comes amid growing political tensions and frequent claims of persecution from various quarters.
“We are a special breed of people who pray to God to bring down the pharaohs, and when he brings them down to face their Karma, we treat them as victims, then rush to rescue them and crown them as our redeemers.
“Some people claiming to be witch hunted today were the ones who witch hunted others yesterday. Your prayers crushed them and now you are repacking them as your saviors.
“Thats why God doesn’t answer all prayers because you can’t handle the consequences,” he said.
