Nigerian highlife singer Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour, has announced the passing of his father, Elder Onyemaechi Okoli. He shared the sad news on his X (formerly Twitter) handle. Elder Okoli passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2023. Flavour wrote in Igbo: “My father, Ijele’s (his nickname) father, rest well. God gave and God has taken.” The family is yet to announce the funeral plans for the deceased.
