Nigeria Deports 50 Foreigners Convicted of Cybercrime
The Nigerian Immigration Service has deported 50 foreign nationals convicted of cyber-terrorism and internet fraud by the Federal High Court in Lagos. The convicts, which include 49 Chinese and one Tunisian, were part of the 192 Chinese and Philippine nationals arrested by the EFCC in December 2024. Their removal brings the total number of deported convicts to 102 since the exercise began on August 15, 2025.
