Court Stops PENGASSAN, Others From Cutting Gas Supply To Dangote Refinery
The National Industrial Court in Abuja has stopped the Petroleum & Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) from halting crude and gas supply to the Dangote Refinery. PENGASSAN had directed its branches in major oil and gas companies to cut supply, citing the alleged dismissal of over 800 workers who joined the union. Dangote, however, insists only a small number of staff were affected as part of a safety-related restructuring.
