Fela’s Ex- drummer, Tony Allen dies at 79
Tony Allen who was a drummer for the Fela Kuti band, Africa 70 is dead. He died on the 30th of April as the cause of his death has not been revealed. Born in Lagos in 1940, Tony Allen was a drummer, composer and also a songwriter for Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
