Lere Olayinka Hits Back at Verydarkman Over Kingsley Chinda Land Allegations
Lere Olayinka, a media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has publicly rebuked social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, known as “Verydarkman” (VDM), for renewing allegations of land grabbing against House Minority Leader and Rivers State APC gubernatorial candidate, Kingsley Chinda.
In a recent video, VDM revisited claims he originally posted in December 2024, accusing Minister Wike of revoking a property in the Life Camp area of Abuja and reallocating it to his associates, specifically naming Kingsley Chinda as a beneficiary. Following Chinda’s official emergence this week as the Rivers State APC governorship candidate for the 2027 elections, VDM disparaged the development, stating, “This same Chinda? Rivers State is finished.”
Responding to the allegations on Friday, Lere Olayinka slammed the critic, labeling him a “very dull man.” In a post on his Facebook page, Olayinka alleged that VDM was previously paid by the property’s original claimant to spread misinformation.
“Very Dull Man was everywhere then, advertising his ignorance after he must have collected money from the supposed owner of the property,” Olayinka stated. He further claimed that VDM chose to ignore the truth once evidence was provided.
“They became silent when we brought out facts that the said land was never allocated to the claimant,” Olayinka added. “Instead of Very Dull Man to apologise for misleading the public, he simply went dumb, moved on to other issues and continued with his game.”
The confrontation comes shortly after Chinda officially secured the Rivers State APC governorship ticket following a primary election on Wednesday, where he emerged as the sole candidate after the withdrawal of other major aspirants.
