“Tinubu Is Disconnected from Nigerians’ Reality” — Baba-Ahmed Criticises Govt
Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has said President Bola Tinubu is out of touch with the struggles Nigerians are facing.
Speaking on The Morning Show, he faulted the president’s recent remark suggesting critics of his policies fail to see progress, describing it as a sign of disconnect.
“There is no way you can see the level of poverty and expect Nigerians to applaud,” he said.
Baba-Ahmed argued that government reforms have not improved living conditions, adding, “We are more insecure, more hungry, and more desperate.”
He also expressed confidence that the APC could be defeated in a free and fair election, citing what he described as a gap between government perception and public reality.
