2027: “Election Will Be Over by Noon” — Tanko Backs Obi-Kwankwaso Ticket

National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Yunusa Tanko, has expressed confidence that a Peter Obi–Rabiu Kwankwaso ticket would secure a swift victory in the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking on Politics Today, Tanko said the election would be decided “by 12 noon” with such a pairing.

He made the remark while reacting to Dele Momodu’s suggestion of an Atiku-Obi ticket for the ADC, instead backing Obi-Kwankwaso as a stronger alternative.

Airing his own opinion, Tanko said, “Do you want to choose someone who’ll win the primary and lose the election?

“If the ADC doesn’t zone the presidency to the South, the party will lose the election. With an Obi-Kwankwaso ticket, the election will be over by 12 pm.”
