Reject the failed leadership of the present APC-led governments – ADC chieftain, Imansuagbon

ADC chieftain Ken Imansuagbon has called onNigerians to oppose President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, urging early mobilisation to challenge his second-term bid.

Speaking in Edo State while receiving defectors from the PDP, he described the wave of new members joining the ADC as a “tsunami,” reflecting growing confidence in the party as a credible alternative.

Also speaking, former Edo State Governor and ADC National Legal Adviser, Prof. Oserhimen Osunbor, dismissed assumptions that APC dominance guarantees electoral victory, warning that internal issues and provisions of the Electoral Act could influence outcomes.

He stressed that election results would ultimately be determined by the people, not political projections.

The defectors, led by former PDP chieftain Chief Clifford Eineh, were described as part of a broader political realignment ahead of the 2027 elections, with several party stakeholders in attendance.

“Nigerians at both the state and federal levels must prepare to decisively reject the failed leadership of the present APC-led governments.

“The electorate should also resist any attempt by Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, to secure a second term. We should do everything possible to ensure that the will of the people will ultimately override political intimidation.

“The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC’s claim of controlling a majority of governors does not equate to grassroots acceptance or electoral victory,” he said
