“I Stay in a Rented Apartment to Motivate Myself” — Ola of Lagos
Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur Waris Olayinka Akinwande, popularly known as Ola of Lagos, has explained why he continues to live in a rented apartment despite owning multiple houses.
Speaking on the KK Show, Ola said he has never slept in any house he bought with his own money because he fears becoming “too relaxed” if he moves into his own property.
According to him, staying in a rented apartment keeps him motivated to work harder and maintain his drive.
The luxury influencer also revealed that he currently pays ₦50 million annually in house rent
