“My Daughter Wanted Me to Work With Obi” — Kwankwaso Opens Up on 2023 Election

Former Kano State governor Rabiu Kwankwaso has revealed that his daughter urged him to team up with Peter Obi during the 2023 presidential election.

Speaking in an interview on Arise TV, Kwankwaso said the conversation reflected the growing political mindset among younger Nigerians.

“Even in my own house, my daughter was telling me to go and work with Peter Obi,” he said.  

He added that support for both the Kwankwasiyya movement and Obi cuts across regions and social groups more than many people realise.
