Group Plans ‘200 Million Man Rally’ to Urge Jonathan’s 2027 Return
A political group, Goodluck Nigeria Movement (GNM), has announced plans to mobilise a nationwide “200 million man rally” to persuade former President Goodluck Jonathan to contest the 2027 presidential election.
In a statement, the group said Nigeria needs an experienced leader to navigate current economic and political challenges, describing Jonathan’s tenure as a period of stability and growth.
GNM called on Nigerians at home and abroad to support the movement, portraying Jonathan as a unifying figure capable of restoring peace and prosperity.
The group added that his “peace first” approach and leadership style make him a strong candidate for national recovery.
