“Enough of Hollow Rhetoric, it is time to roll your sleeves and get to work” — Atiku Urges Tinubu to Act on Rising Attacks
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has called on President Bola Tinubu to take decisive action against the growing wave of attacks across the country.
In a statement on X, Atiku criticised the government’s response to recent violence in Plateau, Benue, Nasarawa, and Kaduna, noting that fresh attacks occurred shortly after Tinubu vowed such incidents would not repeat.
“It is time to fold your sleeves and get to work,” he said, stressing that protecting lives and property remains the government’s primary responsibility.
He also expressed concern over displaced communities and extended condolences to families affected by the violence.
