ICPC Returns El-Rufai to Custody, Court Adjourns Case
The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) has taken former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai back into custody after his temporary release.
El-Rufai had earlier been released on March 27, 2026, following the death of his mother but was re-arraigned on Tuesday.
He appeared before the Kaduna State High Court on a separate charge, but the hearing was adjourned to April 10 due to the absence of a co-defendant.
After the court session, he was moved to the Federal High Court in Kaduna, where his bail application is expected to be heard.
