Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has vowed never to exchange pleasantries with colleague Funke Akindele again following an awkward public encounter.
The incident occurred at the premiere of Iyabo Ojo’s movie, where Funke allegedly ignored Toyin despite being greeted. In a viral video, Toyin was seen saying, “Aunty Funke, good evening ma,” while tapping her, but Funke reportedly looked away and did not respond.
The moment sparked reactions online, with many criticising Funke’s behaviour.
Reacting in a now-deleted Instagram comment, Toyin expressed her displeasure, stating that she has unfollowed Funke and would no longer greet her.
“I have unfollowed her, God forbid bad things. If I ever greet her again that means I’m a bastard,” she wrote.
