“He killed himself to avoid paying $1,900” Francis Van-Lare says his daughter’s partner who allegedly took his life to avoid paying $15k monthly for child support was a “dead beat dad”

Francis Van-Lare has remained steadfast in defending his daughter following the tragic passing of her former partner in the U.S.

Dr. Ikenna Erinne, a Nigerian cardiologist based in the U.S., took his own life on Jan. 26.

Reports circulating online suggested that his death was linked to losing a custody battle, being ordered to pay $15,000 per month in child support, and having his medical license revoked.

However, Van-Lare has refuted these claims, stating that Dr. Erinne’s license was not revoked in any U.S. state.
