Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has ordered the dismissal of the Managing director of Rivers State Microfinance agency, Dr Ipalibo Sogules and the arrest of three other top officials over allegations of fraud. The officials include; Head of SMEs, Mr Nimi Harry; the Head of Finance and Accounts, Mr Ukele Okorji; and the Internal Auditor, Mr Sofiri Koko. FG suspends Flight Company that conveyed Naira Marley to Abuja
The minister for aviation Hadi Sirika, has announced that the flight which conveyed Naira Marley to Abuja for a concert has been suspended indefinitely. He stated this at the daily briefing on the presidential task force on COVID-19 on Monday, adding that the company has been suspended indefinitely and the flight crew will be punished for providing misleading information. This follows the shutdown of Jabi Lake mall where the said concert was held.
