Gunmen abduct retired air commodore in Kaduna
Unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a retired Air Commodore in the Nigerian Air Force in Kaduna, Ado Adamu Sha’iskawa, One Salisu Lawal Kerau, who confirmed the incident on Saturday moning, October 3, on Facebook, said the former Air Force chief was abducted from his residence by the gunmen.

Auchi Polytechnic loses Rector
The Rector of Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, Dr Momodu Jimah, is dead. According to reports, he died at about 7pm on Friday night, October 2. Confirming his passing to newsmen, the Public Relations Officer of Auchi Polytechnic, Mustapha Oshiobugie, said the deceased rector died after a brief illness.
