EndSARS: NHRC sets up Panel to tackle human rights violation
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has constituted an 11-man independent investigative panel to look into allegations of human rights violations leveled against operatives of the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and other units of the Nigeria Police Force. The Nigeria Police has dismissed and demoted at least some former members of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
