The half-brother of Obafemi Hamzat, the deputy governor of Lagos state, Haroun, has died. A medical doctor by profession, Haroun, 37, died after testing positive for COVID19. Until his death, late Haroun worked at a primary healthcare centre in Orile Agege local council development area of the state. Kano stops payment of 30k minimum wage, reverts to 18k
The Kano government has stopped payment of N30,000 minimum wage to civil servants in the state and have now reverted to the former N18,000 minimum wage. The Federal government has announced that it will be borrowing from Nigerians unclaimed dividends and dormant bank account balances that have been left for up to at least six years.
