FEC approves N2.9 billion for the printing of examination papers
The Federal Executive Council has approved N2.9 billion contracts for the printing of sensitive and non-sensitive examination materials. The approval was granted at the council’s meeting presided over by President Buhari on Wednesday October 28. Speaking with state house correspondents after the meeting, the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, said the printing contracts were awarded to a group of eight printers. NFF confirms receipt of $1m from FIFA as COVID-19 Palliatives
President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick has confirmed the receipt of $1 million as COVID-19 palliatives from world football governing body, FIFA. According to Pinnick, the fund is composed of $500,000 for “men’s football and $500,000 for the women’s game,” while also revealing FIFA will send in another “$500,000 in January 2021” as part of the palliatives.
