Castro Ezama Special Adviser on Education to Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, has said that about 50 or 60% of girls in secondary schools in Cross River State are not virgins. Niger Delta group sues FG over Ibori loot
The Niger Delta Democratic Union, (NDDU) has filed a lawsuit before the Federal High Court in Asaba challenging the federal government’s decision to declare itself sole owner of $4.2million recovered loot from former Governor of Delta state, James Ibori by the British Government. ”4.5m people in Lagos are into illicit drugs”- NDLEA boss Buba Marwa says
The Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Buba Marwa, has disclosed that there are about 4.5 million people in Lagos state into illicit drugs. Marwa made this known during a visit to the Lagos NDLEA command on Tuesday, March 16 as he ordered operatives of the agency to wipe out drug cartels in the state. “In the country, an estimate of 15 million people belong to one or more aspects of illicit drug dealing.
