BREAKING: NBC queries Channels TV over interview with Ortom
The National Broadcasting Commission on Thursday queried Channels Television for granting an interview to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State. NBC in a letter to the television station titled, ‘Notice of Infraction’ said the move followed “inciting, divisive and unfair comments” made by the governor during a programme, ‘Sunrise Daily’ on Tuesday. Latifat Tijani has won Nigeria’s first gold medal at the ongoing Tokyo Paralympic Games. She won the gold on Thursday in women’s 45kg powerlifting. Tijani defeated China’s Zhe Cui to lift 107kg.
