Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has described as worrisome the number of out-of-school Children in Nigeria. The federal government has disclosed plans to boost teachers salary and working conditions in the country. Obiano not released from detention, transferred to Abuja – EFCC
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has countered claims that the immediate-past governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, has been released from detention.According to the EFCC Spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, Obiano was transferred to Abuja on Friday morning. “He’s still with the commission. He was even transferred from Lagos to Abuja this morning,” Uwujaren said.Uwujaren, however, did not state whether the ex-governor was arrested alongside his wife, Ebelechukwu.
