Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has disclosed that he would have stepped down if his Kano State counterpart, Abdullahi Ganduje was running for the top seat of the country. Speaking during a courtesy visit to Ganduje in Kano, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential aspirant expressed gladness that Ganduje was not in the race. He however urged Ganduje to support his Presidential ambition “If Ganduje is running for the presidency some of us will quickly withdraw our ambitions, but thank God he is not running, and I’m sure he will help me to make it,” Wike said.
