Former NDDC MD, Nsima Ekere has been arrested by Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged diversion of funds to the tune of N47 billion through registered contractors of the agency.His arrest was confirmed by EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwajaren on Channels Television.Nsima, 56, was the agency’s Managing Director between 2016 and 2018. Justice Nathaniel Emmanuel of the Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo has affirmed Senator Ademola Adeleke as the authentic candidate that would represent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the July 16 governorship election in Osun State.
