Femi Adesina, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, has slammed the Northern Elders Forum for calling for President Muhammadu Buhari, to resign over the country’s insecurity concerns. Adesina in a post he shared on Facebook titled “Hiding beneath the canopy of insecurity,” claimed that the NEF’s attitude was created out of members’ frustration after they were reportedly left out of Buhari’s administration. Obiano’s wife not in our Custody – EFCC
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has denied arresting Eberechukwu, wife of the immediate past governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano. This was disclosed in a statement by EFCC’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren. He said Eberechukwu is not in the anti graft agency’s custody Recall that EFCC arrested her husband, Willie Obiano on March 17, 2022, at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos State as he attempted to leave the country, hours after handing over to his successor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo.

EFCC arrests Obiano’s wife
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Ebelechukwu, the wife of former Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano. Mrs Obiano is currently in the custody of the commission This is coming about a month after her husband was arrested at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos, as he was preparing to board a flght to Houston, the United States after handing over to his successor, Soludo. He was subsequently moved to Abuja the following day and quizzed over alleged misappropriation of public funds, including, N5 billion Sure-P and N37 billion security vote which was withdrawn in cash.
