EFCC arrests Ex-NDDC MD Nsima Ekere over alleged N47bn fraud
Former NDDC MD, Nsima Ekere has been arrested by Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged diversion of funds to the tune of N47 billion through registered contractors of the agency.His arrest was confirmed by EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwajaren on Channels Television.Nsima, 56, was the agency’s Managing Director between 2016 and 2018. The former NDDC boss was the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Akwa Ibom in the 2019 elections.

Court declares dancing senator, Ademola Adeleke, authentic PDP candidate in Osun
Justice Nathaniel Emmanuel of the Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo has affirmed Senator Ademola Adeleke as the authentic candidate that would represent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the July 16 governorship election in Osun State. The judge made the declaration while delivering judgment in a suit filed by a factional candidate of the PDP, Prince Dotun Babayemi. Babayemi has asked the court to be recognised as the authentic candidate of the Party following the parallel primaries held on March 9. Residents of the state will be heading to polls on July 16 to elect a new governor.
