Don’t accept Vice President position for Obi – Ohanaeze speaks on Possible NNPP and LP merger
The Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the apex Igbo socio-political organization, has reacted to the reported merger between Labour Party, LP, and the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP. The group in a statement by it’s Secretary-General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro warned Peter Obi against accepting any arrangement that would make him a running mate of NNPP’s Rabiu Kwankwaso. Isiguzoro averred that the purported merger would strengthen the chances of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso winning the presidential election in 2023. Nigerian-based Cameroonian factor, Edgard Leroy is dead. He died in an accident at the Sagamu area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway way on Saturday.
