House on the Rock pastor arrested for preaching with an AK-47 in church
The police have arrested and detained the presiding pastor of House on The Rock church in Abuja, Pastor Uche Aigbe, for carrying an AK-47 to the pulpit. The Intelligence Response Team, IRT, under the Force Intelligence Bureau, FIB, took Aigbe into custody. This is coming after a video went viral on social media where the cleric is seen preaching in church on Sunday while carrying the rifle on his left shoulder. Reject Atiku at presidential election for opposing Sharia – Shettima tells Northerners
All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential running mate, Kashim Shettima, has told Northerners not to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. Allow old, new notes co-circulate for 12 months – Tinubu tells CBN
Presidential Candidate, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, has asked the Central Bank of Nigeria to allow the old and new naira notes co-exist as legal tenders for the next 12 months.
