Native Doctor kills client while testing bulletproof charm in Enugu
A 23-year-old native doctor, Odoh Emmanuel has been arrested by men of the Enugu State police command. Odoh was said to have shot and killed his client, Onunze Benedict while testing the gunshot protection charm he prepared for the deceased. Spokesperson of the command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, said the incident happened in Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of the state. The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS has raised an alarm over the alleged torture of Aminu Adamu Mohammed, a student of the Federal University Dutse Jigawa who was arrested and detained by the Nigeria Police over a tweet accusing the wife of the President of feeding fat on poor people’s money. Breaking: IGP sentenced to three month in prison for disobeying court order
A Federal High court ruling has in Tuesday sentenced the Inspector-General of Police Usman Baba to three months in prison for disobeying a court order. Justice Olajuwon who delivered the judgement said the order followed a suit filed by a former police officer, Patrick Okoli who claimed he was unlawfully and compulsorily retired from the Nigeria Police Force.
