Deputy Commander Land Forces in Uganda, Major Gen Francis Takirwa has asked health workers to stop treating homosexuals in public health facilities.He described it as unacceptable. Court orders arrest of EFCC Chairman, Bawa, remand in Kuje prison
The Kogi State High Court in Lokoja has ordered the arrest and remand of the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa, in prison. This was made known in a judgment by Justice Rukayat Ayoola who ruled that Bawa should be picked up and remanded in Kuje prison for disobeying a court order. The Judge also directed the Inspector General of Police to ensure compliance because the EFCC boss committed contempt of court.
