Hunters discover bag full of PVC’s in Nnewi forest
Two hunters have discovered a bag full of Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs, in a forest in Nnewi, Anambra State. The hunters saw the bag containing the PVCs in a bush in Akamili, a community in Nnewi, on Tuesday, and later took it to the premises of a popular radio station, Authority FM. A radio station in Anambra State has recorded a video of the drum-full of voter’s cards brought to their station. “The names that we have here, they are all coming from the people who are from Nnewi North and of course the entire South East,” the radio presenter explained.

LASU staff slumps and dies while queuing in bank to withdraw N5,000
A staff of the Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo, Mr Ademola Adesola, slumped and died while queuing in a bank within the school premises to withdraw N5,000 new notes. Former Kaduna lawmaker, Shehu Sani has said that vote buyers have resorted to collecting account numbers of electorates. This is coming amidst the unavailability of cash caused by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) naira redesign policy.
