NBC fines Channels TV N5 million over interview with Vice-Presidential candidate of Labour party, Datti Baba-Ahmed.
The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has slammed a fine of N5 million on Channels Television for breaking the broadcasting law during an interview with the Vice-Presidential candidate of Labour party, Datti Baba-Ahmed. The sanction was communicated to the Chief Executive Officer of the television station in a letter titled Broadcast of an Inciting Interview, A Sanction, and signed by Balarabe Ilelah, the commissions Director-General. Don’t give any loan to Ganduje govt – Kano Governor-elect warns lenders
Kano State Governor-elect Abba Kabir Yusuf has issued a Public Debt Suspension advisory to both domestic and international lenders. He asked them not to entertain any requests for loans without his consent. Police finally arrest singer, Portable after he turned down 5 invitations, will now spend next 72 hours in Detention
Following the expiration of a 72-hour ultimatum given to the famous singer, Habeeb Okikiola, commonly called Portable, to turn himself in, the Ogun State police command has arrested the singer for refusing to honour the invitation.
