Senator Smart Adeyemi representing Kogi West Senatorial District has appealed to Nigerian journalist, Reuben Abati, to come back to the All Progressives Congress, APC. Adeyemi made the appeal on Monday while fielding questions about the outcome of Kogi State APC gubernatorial primaries on Arise Television’s Morning Show program. According to him, they are both Asiwaju boys “Reuben you know you have been very hard on our party, you been very hard on APC. You know you and I were Asiwaju’s boys. A report by Premiumtimes says results uploaded on the INEC Results Viewing Portal (IReV) indicate that the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, won the 25 February presidential election in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, South-south Nigeria. According to the report, Obi’s votes in the area implies he, and not Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), won the presidential election in Rivers, contrary to the declaration made by INEC. INEC cancels declaration of Binani as Adamawa Gov-Elect, summons REC
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has canceled the declaration of Senator Aisha Dahiru, popularly known as Binani, as the winner of the governorship election in Adamawa State. The electoral body also summoned the Resident Electoral Commissioner for the state, Barrister Hudu Yunusa over the controversial declaration.
