Indian police arrest Two Nigerian women with drugs worth N63 million
In Rajasthan, India, two Nigerian women, Adaeze Jaye, aged 43, and Success Chamika, aged 23, were apprehended in possession of drugs valued at over N63 million. On Friday, October 27, 2023, Pushkar police arrested both women, confiscating a total of 65 grams of Mephedrone (MD) and Rs 65,000 in cash. According to a statement released by the police on Saturday, they also seized a digital weighing machine along with the cash amount of Rs 65,000 from the accused. The estimated worth of the seized drugs is approximately Rs 6 lakh, as reported by the police.
