Senate proposes 14 Year Jail Term for Sexual Offenders in Tertiary Institutions
The Senate, on Wednesday, debated a bill which proposed up to 14 years jail term, with a minimum of 5 years, without an option of fine for any educator who commits sexual offences in tertiary institutions. Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has ordered the implementation of N30,000 new national minimum wage in the state which is to take effect from November, 2019 according to a statement to Director Media and communication, Solomon Kumangar.
