Only 3 States in Nigeria can finance their expenditure independently – BudgIT Nigeria reveals.
It has been revealed according to budgIT State of the States 2019 edition that out of the 36 States in Nigeria, only 3 states can Finance their expenditure independently without Federal allocation the other 33 State Governments cannot financial its expenditure without Federal Government allocation. In the summary of the report Lagos leads the fiscal sustainability index, followed by Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Kano states.

Three Nigerians and other foreign nationals on Tuesday suffered fresh xenophobic attacks in different locations of Witbank, Mpumanlaga Provinces, South Africa.
