NYSC to replace Corps Member’s Amputated Limbs with N26 Million
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has set aside N26 million to replace a corps member’s amputated limbs in Kano state. This was according to a statement by the state coordinator, Ladan Baba to Journalists. Mompha demands N5 Million from EFCC for Damages
Ismaila Mustapha popularly known as Mompha has filed a fundamental rights enforcement suit of 5 million Naira against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for detaining him beyond the constitutionally stipulated days. Mompha in the suit is also seeking a court order directing the EFCC to release him unconditionally forthwith from its custody. There is also an order of perpetual injunction restraining the EFCC or any person whatsoever acting for or on behalf of the agency from arresting and detaining him in relation to the subject of the suit without recourse to due process of law.

I pity my people traveling to the East, every Road is bad – Phyno
Nigerian indigenous rapper, Phyno has stated that he pities people traveling to the eastern part of Nigeria during this year’s festive season because of the bad state of the road. Senate approves VAT increase as Requested by Buhari
The request by President Muhammadu Buhari to increase value-added tax (VAT) from 5 per cent to 7.5 per cent has been approved by the Nigerian senate. It was approved by the Red Chamber after Solomon Olamilekan, chairman of the finance committee after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved an increase in VAT and forwarded the bill to the senate in September 2019.
