The military authority has said that no fewer than 608 repentant Boko Haram insurgents are currently undergoing De-radicalisation, Rehabilitation and Reintegration (DRR) Programme by Operation Safe Corridor (OSC) at Malam-Sidi, Gombe State as 14 of the repentant insurgents were foreigners from Cameroon, Chad and Niger Republic. Hope Uzodinma, governor of Imo state, has announced the dissolution of the state expanded executive council as constituted by the immediate past administration. He approved the appointment of Cosmos Iwu as secretary to the state government. He also appointed Nnamdi Anyaechie as chief of staff; C. O.
