Buhari Congratulates D’Tigress for qualifying for Olympics
President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the female Basket Ball team, D’Tigress, for qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. South East Governors to launch Regional Security Outfit
The governors of the South-east geopolitical region of Nigeria have resolved to launching a regional security outfit. The chairman of the South-East Governors’ Forum and Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, said the leaders have also written to the Federal Government with regards to the establishment of the security outfit. Although the governors are yet to choose a name for the security outfit. The governors reached a consensus to have their state assemblies pass laws to establish their own security outfit.

Osinbajo to represent Buhari at burial of ex-Kenyan President

Truck Driver charged for allegedly swerving into Osinbajo’s Motorcade.
A 43-year-old truck driver, Abubakar Musa, appeared in a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ikeja, Lagos, for allegedly driving recklessly and swerving into the motorcade of the Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
