The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, on Monday announced the commencement of an indefinite strike. ASUU’s President, Biodun Ogunyemi, made the disclosure while addressing a press conference at the union’s National Secretariat in Abuja. Abule-Ado explosion: Dangote donates N100M worth of Cement for reconstruction
Nigerian Entrepreneur and Philanthropist, Aliko Dangote has donated N100m Cement to victims of the Abule-Ado gas explosion for reconstruction. Despite measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, Nigeria has recorded its first death case of a 67 year old male who returned home following medical treatment in UK. This was confirmed in a post just shared by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) which reads; “The 1st #COVID19 death in Nigeria has been recorded. The case was a 67 year old male who returned home following medical treatment in UK. He had underlying medical conditions- multiple myeloma & diabetes & was undergoing chemotherapy. Coronavirus: Nigeria records 5 new cases as toll rises to 35
Nigeria has confirmed five new cases of coronavirus which brings the total number of patients to 35 This was confirmed in a post shared by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on their twitter handle. Coronavirus: Governor Yahaya Bello orders Civil Servants to Work from Home.
Kogi State Government has ordered civil servants from GL 1 -13 to stay off work for 14 days in a bid to stop the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. A Catholic priest slumped and died while officiating Mass in Rivers State on Sunday, March 22, 2020. Rev. A Nigerian man has been confirmed dead while preparing for his wedding today March 21 in Jos, Plateau State capital.
