Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar and Senator Dino Melaye, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate in the Kogi West Senatorial election on Tuesday reacted to reports that Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari Mr. Abba Kyari has reportedly tested positive for Coronavirus. President Mohammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari has tested positive to coronavirus. The test became necessary after he returned from a trip abroad. However, president Mohammadu Buhari tested negative to the virus following a test conducted on Tuesday. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed four new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, bringing the total to 40. We may be forced to use military and police for coronavirus contact tracing – Lai Mohammed
Minister of information, Lai Mohammed has told Nigerians to prepare for tougher measures which will be instituted by the Federal Government to curb the spread of coronavirus. National Mosque Abuja suspends daily, Friday prayers indefinitely
Authorities of the National Mosque, Abuja have announced the suspension of the five daily and Juma’at prayers as part of measures to curb the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
